From the Tony Award–winning musical Falsettos, “I’m Breaking Down” is a comedic yet emotionally raw solo sung by Trina, a woman struggling to keep herself together as her life unravels. Recently divorced from her husband Marvin, who has left her for another man, Trina finds herself overwhelmed by the chaos of co-parenting their son, navigating her lingering feelings, and trying to adjust to an unconventional new family dynamic.
